Busted mirror

Somebody clipped me on a back road and the long, horizontal front plastic piece on my heated tow pckg mirror busted. Can that plastic piece be purchased separately?

Thanks!

I don't know, but a quick call to your Dodge dealer would be one possible way to find out. Alternately, maybe try a salvage yard?

If not, the aftermarket ones on eBay are getting less expensive all the time. $100 shipped for heated tow mirror

As far as I know you can't get just that piece. I had to buy the whole mirror when the glass got busted out. Couldn't buy the the 2 dollar plastic piece that held the glass. IIRC geno's garage has replacement mirrors for about half the price of the dealer.

I don't think it's possible to replace that one piece. A couple of weeks ago I replaced one with an aftermarket for $105 delivered. I don't notice any extra vibration from being an aftermarket mirror. Some say they do vibrate more. It's an easy install. Just remove the door pannel.
