broken shock
they just dropped some chinese pavement on the gravel road by work and it seems they left behind a 65 pound boulder in the rubble. Bootin' down the road at 30 mph when i hear BANG!!!. Bounced this boulder off the front diff, into the tranny crossmember, then into the muffler, of the rear pass. shock, and off of the rear diff.....the only damage was a totally ripped apart shock, a huge ding in the cross member, and a dent in the muffler.
What is the closest shock too stock?? I would rather pay 30 bucks for something similar, then whatever the *********** would want me too pay for a single shock.

The stock shocks are junk anyway.
This would be a great opportunity for you to upgrade all your shocks to Rancho 9000s or Bilsteins. You would be pleasantly surprized at the difference in ride quality and handling.

so i figured id suck it up for now and just get one oem replacement....or is uit safe too change the rear shcocks, and leave the fronts for now??

chinese pavement is crushed ashpalt, we buy it off of the road crews and spread it on our gravel roads too keep dust down, after a week or so a packer comes through, and the crushed ashpalt is like a regular road.
