130,000 miles on mine. All 4 corners are original pads.

Different styles of trucks anyway. Had 95, 96, and 99 Ram 1500 4x4's. Never put high miles, but the front pads would last about 30k mi IIRC, never touched the rears.
My 01 Ram 1500 4x4 had 120k mi when I sold it and was on it's 5th set of front pads, orig rears, and the rear brakes worked fine. Always tried to adjust them up, but they were tight and they'd lock up on gravel pretty easy (no ABS).
My 02 Chevy, same type of driving, towing the same, has 60k mi and all 4 brakes look like new still.

Just did all four sets of pads, Front had about 5% on them and rear had 25% on them at 85000. I do alot of stop and go driving and towing. Its not the brakes its all the ball joints and bearings that get to me.

I have a bit over 20k on mine and they are still all right and it was hard breaking, towing heavy with no exhaust brake. I think im going to be picking up all new brakes soon and get the old rotors cut (if I can) and have a spare set.

No reason to be fearful of the 48RE. The Allison has nothing on it. Spoiled is in your head and thier hype.

I do a lot of stop and go and just replaced the front @54K. It cut the rotor before I realized what was happening. I didn't expect it so soon as my Yukon 2500 has 135K on original brakes. Rears were at 50-60 percent.

Changed the rears @ 55,000 and now doing the fronts @ 67,000.

I'm surprised they lasted as ong as they did because I am known to do Brake Locks a lot to get those rears spinning. But only hold the brakes to they start spinning, then the rest it is all power to spin them.
