brake pedal sticking

This problem doesn't always occur but once in a while the brake pedal in my 2006 2500 seems to get stuck on something for a second when depressing it and and then seems to let go and activate as normal. I've looked and can't see or feel anything the pedal is coming in contact with and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. The brakes still work but it's unnerving when it happens.

probably your ABS antiskid pulsating, what are the road conditions? as your abs works to prevent one wheel from locking up causing the vehicle to veer off, just a thought.

It's not pulsing at all. just feels like the pedal is catching on something when I first put my foot on it and then lets go as I press down, almost like a catch being released. Hope it wasn't designed by Toyota.

I just noticed mine doing this and yesterday the brake lights stayed on after shutting her down and getting out of the truck, went back and pulled up on the pedal and they went off.

Sticky slides on the actuators? When last did you take the brakes apart and grease anything?

Grease the brakes?? Seems to me that brakes and grease just don't go together in the same sentence but if actuators require greasing, I'll certainly look into it although I don't think thats the problem.

Not talking about the actuators (pistons) but the pins that keep everything aligned and allow in and out movement of the assembly. When these get sticky it causes problems, including uneven wearing of the pads.
