Bolts for the spring pack

I just finished lowering the rear of my truck and two of the bolts that hold the spring pack broke so I replaced them with grade 8 regular thread. Would this be ok? Thanks

Not a problem at all. Matter of fact, many folks who do the drop change to grade-8 bolts even when the stockers don't break.
