Bilstein Help!

I bought a set of Bilstein shocks here a while back for my 2004 2500 Ram CTD. The seller told me the shocks were off his 2500 Ram and only had a few months on them before he went with a bigger lift and longer shocks.

I'm attempting to install them today but something doesn't seem right.
The ends on the Bilstein shocks are smaller in size than my OEM shocks.
The smaller ends appear very loose inside the stock shock mounting brackets

Do I have the right shocks?
Am I missing something?

Thanks in advan for any info or advice.

Looks like the new bilstiens are missing the metal sleeve that goes inside the rubber mount.

Yep, I think the metal sleeves act as the spacers in-between the mounts.....

Anyone know if the Bilstein shocks are supposed to come with the spacers already installed?
Can these spacers be bought and installed or can I reuse them from my OEM shocks?

Are the Bilstein shocks ends supposed to be that much smaller than the OEM shocks?

Thanks.

Just put Biltsteins on mine and they had the metal spacers in the box.

Mine came with the metal spacers/sleeves already installed and yes the ends are smaller than the stockers. I actually got shocks from bilstein with different size and color ends on them. They were the same part number though.

I had the same problem with mine so I took the sleeve from the stockers.
