BFG 305's before and after

Been on one day and they are great.Should be the OEM tire.Cost me $60 per tire after the 100 % credit from Michelin to go with the bigger tire. STS tire and Auto was great to work with they couldnt care less what tire or brand I bought . Looked at the Toyo 295/70R17 MT but decided since I do a lot of Highway to go with the BFG . I also wanted to stay with an E rated tire.

how many miles you got on them ? Any problems with mud or slinging of road dirt onto the truck?

they do fill the wells out much better than the 265's

How much of a hit in mpg did you take moving up to the 305s? Thanks.

I havent check it yet. Overhead its about 1 mpg but I dont trust it even though it was about 1.2 mpg off from hand calculation. I also need to get the speedo recalibrated to the new size I am sure its reading slower than the actual speed.

If price was the same you should of got the toyo 295's.

I have over 30K on my toyo's and I drive hard. It's been the most miles ive ever put on a set of tires....ever

There's a reason the're the #1 tire for diesels.

All of the BFG AT's ive owned loose the side shoulder tread block fast.

I also have LIFETIME allighment at firestone and the toyos get rotated every 5K.

I have 71,000 miles on my 295 Toyo's A/T and still have about 10 to 15000 more left. I do have a lot of Highway driving but I do have fun with them. It has been the best tires I have ever owned. I had Pro Comps A/T and only got about 35000 out of them. I'm sure I will go with the Toyo's in the future.
