Best Windshield Wipers?

I cannot find a good set of windshield wipers.

I have gone through about 3 pair since Feb 08' and each different brand has not quite done the job well enough.

It seems like there is always "crap" getting stuck under the wipers and leaves an annoying streak across the windshield, where you finally have to get out and wipe off the bottom of the wiper. It is particularly annoying with bugs during the summer and leaves during the fall.

Is this something you have to live with?

New Bosch without metal frame, they are about $60 for the pair but are well worth it, I have had them for over a year and they are sitll working great.

Ive got 2 years with my Bosch wippers. I can still remember purchasing them. I seen the price was $30.00 and for that price I thought I was getting two in the same package till the clerk asked me why I was purchasing only one windshield wiper.. Embaressed I went back and got a second one. For $60.00 I'm making these babies last long as possible

Anything But RainX Silicone

Believed the Hype and Suffered through 6 months of Streaking and Hazy film all over windshield. Put on some Bosch and it is like night and day. Still trying to find something to get the residual silicone off the glass........

Lighter fluid or Coke will take the silicone off. Be careful if you try the lighter fluid

I'm amazed that a good set of windhield wipers exists at all...you pay top dollar for the truck and get garbage windshield wipers...go figure.

Ditto on the Trico neoforms going on a year and a half on mine. They have been through 90'-100' South Central Texas heat all last summer and over 90' nearly every day this summer since early May and still clean the windshield great.

Another vote for Bosch,on my 2nd set of the MICRO EDGE-EXCEL,haven't tried the ICONs yet.Don't buy PIAAs they are impregnated with something that is supposed to make the rain bead off the windshield, but all it does is cause horrible smearing and a hazey view all the time.

+ another vote for the Bosch Icons here, I have them on all my vehicles, they perform just great. They stand up to the greuling hot sun and hot desert climate like no other wiper blade out there. Excellent in the cold and snow as well.

I have a set on one of my cars that is right at 3 years old, still like new, still have a lot of life left in them. Years past I would have been replacing wiper blades every 12 months and at 30 bucks per set I might add, you will actually save money with the Bosch Icons when it's all said and done.
