Best place for 12V key
Best place for 12V key
I was tapping into the engine compartment fuse box at the open relay spots but my remote air bags are not working consistently - I think my connection or relay power is not consistent.
From memory the positions are in the upper 60's / low 70's for relay identification number.
What is weird is that if I take a meter to the relay, I get 12Volts with the key on. When i plug in my spade, I get intermediate control of the air bag pump.
Any suggestion where to get (2) 5 amp sources for key on power. I do have in line fuses so just looking for power.
Thanks

I used the 12V outlet on the dash. Key on power. Then, I ran that to a relay under the hood, using painless power dist block so I have multiple circuits available for future add-ons.

Found a good 12v key on
Thanks - I decided to try the opposite side of the location in the open relay location in the fuse box, all is good.
That distribution block is a great idea, wish I would have thought of that early on.
