These new 03's are selling like hotcakes. So who has, or believes, they have gotten the best deal? I am in the discussion stages with my local dealer, Big-O Dodge, and they have made me and offer on a new 03, 4x4 long bed SLT, very well equiped. The MSRP is$39560 and right off the bat they said I could have it for $34145. I haven't even begun to try and talk them down. Seems like a darn good price. How about you guys, any real good dealers out there with REAL deep discounts?

Tell them you will buy it at invoice only. Mine did sell at that. But watch for add ons. They still make money on the 2.5 % holdback that comes in 90 days.

 

I believe I will tell them I'll buy at invoice price. These trucks are not hard to find and if one dealer won't sell at invoice, another probably will. I wouldn't mind a 2002 either, but have not yet found one locally.

$500 over invoice. Another dealer would do invoice plus $100, but $2000 less on my trade-in.

 

Not counting the raping I took on my trade in ('01 Chev.), I got it for 35Kish...their sticker was 42K (you know, all those protection packages :)..MSRP was 39 and some change.<br> I'd rather not discuss what my total loan was for, considering how upside-down I was on the Chev (a lease BTW) :'( :'(

My dealer did it at invoice - rebates and - 1/2 hold back (he split the hold back with me). 03 slt HO 6speed 4X4 2500 quad cab. He does this for anyone. I live in Indiana and bought it from a dealer in NC. I pick it up on Dec 26, I can't wait.

I am in no way a sales person on &quot;in&quot; with this dealership. I just think that information like this should be spread. My dealer that I bought my las truck from was 2200.00 more and another local came with in 1300.00. Steve gave me this deal right off (I hate to haggle) so I said done.
