Best 3rd Gen year

I have an 03 but was wanting to know what you guys thought was the best year so far?

My vote is 04.0 No cat required. Others may differ. I would go up to an 06 and live with the cat and not have the emissions. I believe I got those years right.

4" exhaust from motor to tip.
Steel turbo tubes instead of plastic.
HO Cummins with increased hp.

Plus a better turbo, its actually a good upgrade for the '03/04.

03 and mine has steel intercooler tubes as well not the newer ones. ive had good luck with mine and wouldnt trade it!

Which ever one has less miles on it is my vote. "They don't make them like they used to". Correct, they make them better. If I was still driving my 69 chevelle it would not be good. 07, the newest 5.9 you can get.

i guess we are all kinda partial...i love my 05 and wouldn't want any other year. each year has its own pros and cons. i know i've got the parts that are known to fail on the 05s, crappy plastic intercooler and bad injectors.

I have to vote for my '06. I like the look of the front end better and my truck has been awesome. Only real mechanical troubles was a rash of u-joints earlier this year.
