Bed removal.... how?
The bed removal looks pretty easy...
1)Bumper off...
2)Unhook wiring & fuel hose...
3)Loose bolts...
4)Lift.... done!
Did I forget anything? Any tricks to make it 'easier'?

bumper does not have to come off. there is a ground wire on the right front of the bed between the bed and cab. 10mm bolt. 6 bolts for a short bed, 8 bolts for a long bed. don't forget to remove the fuel filler bucket, 3, #20 (if i remember right) torx screws.

What about the rubber flap/guard between the cab and the bed? ...could be connected to the frame - was to lazy to crawl under there...

Don't know what you're talking about on that flap...
Here's my truck with the bed off... The yellow circles are where the bolts are, the arrow is the ground strap. 3 on each side for a SB, 4 for LB. Don't forget the ground strap on the passenger side between the cab and the bed, and the filler neck from the tank to the bed. Personally, I remove the tail lights, and slide the wires down the holes. Three strong guys can do it, four is better.

You got it.
If you have a few, post that pic about the rubber liner in between the bed and the cab you were talking about...
That, and you're close enough that I can help you get it off if you need help...
