I went to the local horse trailer shop and got a 3/8" thick one.

I bought one from dealer parts for around $60 in 2003. Custom fit for bed and as good as any I have ever had. Still like the day I put it in and has DODGE emblem to add extra bling.

good idea. It sure makes crawling around in the bed easier on your knees.

In my previous Chevy I had a drop in bedliner witha rubber mat on top. I am not sure of the bedliner manufacturer but it was a Chevy part number. This was for an 11 foot camper weighing about 3600 pounds. The camper still slid around. The camper was much better off on just the rubber mat. In fact I could not even give away the Chevy bedliner and ended up cutting it up to throw in the garbage.

Before the camper in a Ford with Ford part numbered drop in bedliner it was "grippy" enough to keep most things from sliding.

FWIW if bed scratches bother you get the bedliner and see how "grippy" it is first. If not just get the mat. Good source for the mats are farm stores if you have one close by.
