Battery Cables and terminals

Battery Cables and terminals
Hey guys, have a few questions regarding the cables and terminals on a 2004 3500 Cummins. Have a couple issues that all point to them.
1. Several error codes thrown regarding voltage. Some have even gone away.
2. Transmission is bobbing in and out of gear, going from 2nd>3rd and 3rd>OD. I was Edit a brick over that one but my cables are so bad that I am actually fairly assured that they will solve the issue(electronic transmissions don't like varying voltages, who knew? :P).
The reason for the post is I have read about ways to make your own wires, but I don't know where to start looking to buy quality wires for the job OR some of the terminals. The one terminal has 3 connections, never seen one of them before(first Cummins truck, still learning). And yes, I have been looking around where to purchase them, online and in stores. Also, the holder for the positive bridge cable seems to have a holder for another cable, picture attached. Am I missing something there? Dealership wasts WAYYYYYY too much for this repair so that idea is dumpstered. Thank you for whatever assistance I get!

Mil spec battery terminals from Mcmaster Carr--

And 1/0 awg welding wire and lugs from these guys--

You WILL need a proper sized hydraulic crimper from Amazon or Harbor Freight the properly set the lugs onto the wire.
Or you can just buy a full, high quality set custom made from 2/0 wire fit for your truck from these guys--excellent quality and customer service--

Hey everyone, got the cables back on the truck. First off, the truck seems to be running much better! Better throttle response, more pep in its step. Didn't fix the transmission issue, though. Going to make another thread with questions on that. But thank you for showing me the site anyway, they needed replaced!
