Mine does it, but not every time. Worried me at first until I searched around on here.
Mine squeeks, not every time, but most of the time. When it first started, I paid extra close attention to anyone turning off a 3rd gen diesel in parking lots and I noticed most of them do it. I wouldn't worry about it unless someone has a reason we should.

Mine does it almost everytime I shut down, and has done so since new. I am at 78,000 miles now and still on the original serpentine belt.
It is the "Cummins Chirp". There is actually a TSB out to stop it if you must. http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2006/09-004-06.htm
I like to hear it and don't want it to stop doing it. The reason for it is the Cummins engine has so much compression that when you shut it off...it STOPS immediately. The a/c, power steering, alternator, water pump etc are still turning at 750 rpms or so.....and that creates a chirp until the belt slows down to zero.
Nothing to worry about. Completely normal. It is the "Sound of Power".
