Amp wiring to a factory deck, help!

Ok well like the title says I need to wire an amp in with my factory head unit.... Its a new Kicker ZX1000.1. Should I buy a line output converter or use speaker level? Where and what wires do I tap? I cant wait!

Oh and where did you guys run your power wire? I think I will go with 4awg

i always used a line out converter off one of the speakers. i have my amp monted under the driver seat and the wire comes threw the firewall on the driver side than i just go under the carpet than i cut a small hole in the carpet to run the power ,remote and RCA wires threw to the amp under the seat i would suggest dumping the factor radio for a good sony and youll have more control of your subs.

good luck
