Air Dam
So my wife had the truck last week while I was away. She took a detour and hit some nasty potholes. One of them caused her to break plastic air dam on the front of the truck, under the bumper.
So my question, has anyone just plain removed this? Any benefit or drawback to doing away with it? I can't imagine it is expensive to replace, just thought I would see if it made sense to replace it.

Re:Air Dam
I already have scrapes on mine from curbs.
I have seen some Dodge Rams without the airdam since it's an option. Not bad looking without the airdam and a big plus is extra ground clearance in the front.

Re:Air Dam
Hmmmm....I hadn't even thought about removing that thing. I wanted to remove it on my old Ford but it was hiding some stuff behind it. Might have to check into taking it off. I never have liked those things.
