additives and fuel economy
I have been using Stanadyne PF almost since new. My fuel economy has been excellent, but I would like to know from those who are using Stanadyne or similar additives how much those additives actually influence mpg.

Great information Rock, thank you. My last fill was 430 miles and measured 19.9. No towing, combination hwy and small town, and rpm's under 2K. I am going to do my own experiment: with additives, and without.

I too have been using Stanadyne from day one. Since I drove off the lot, my milage has been 16.5 to 17.8. These numbers have never changed and have been consistant from day one. I drive between 60 - 70 mph and stay @ below 2000K rpm with those numbers. Have not really did any city driving, but I imagine that those numbers would come down. Once you get over the 2000 rpm milage starts to tick down.
miles 17742 total gallons 1063.984 avg mph 16.7 fuel expense $2207.026
Exactly 1 year and 5 days for those numbers.
