It is my understanding (could be wrong) that the trucks that have dash speakers have a different amp than those that do not. You may not have a choice but to tap into the door speaker leads for the left and right. The center channel is a different deal. Not sure what you would hook it to unless you change the amp

Again, I could be wrong but i believe the center channel speaker is much different than the 3.5" speakers on th sides of the dash. you may have to do quite a bit of whittling to get a regular speaker in the center channel.

If you are not using an external amp, the easy way to do it is to run the dash and door speakers in series. Splice in behind the head unit and you will only need to run wire through the dash. The fronts will be at about 8 ohms so you will want to adjust the sound accordingly with the fader. I would not install a center 3rd speaker unless I had a head unit designed for it.

sounds good. i only bought 2 but my buddy had 2 so i was gonna use one of his but it seems easier to just forget about the center one.

whats if i was going to add a 10" sub in the back where would i splice?

Assuming you will add the sub with an external amp using the high level inputs, I would tap the rear channels at the head unit.
