Added some driving lights

Hey guys, I just put on some new driving lights. They are a 6" Roo-Lite. I thought the headlights on my 06 were awesome compared to the lights on my old 2001. But after running these at night with the high beam on, and then turning them off. You start to lean forward to the windshield to see better. I'm going to try to post some pictures of the difference with them on and off. This will be the first time trying, so hopefully can get it to work.
The picture on the left is with high beams only, Right is with driving lights and high beams

Thank you, The lights just came with an extra bulb. I had to buy the harness separate from NAPA for $42. The harness is made buy the same companys as lights so it was pretty simple. I just made the light and licence plate bar my self.

4 Play Ram,

Have you any experience with LightForce lights? How do the Roo lights compare?

The bracket is 6" "C" chanel that I drilled for the factory licence plate holes in the bumper, then used grinder to make the radius cuts. It's nice because the bolts for the lights are hidden between the bumper and fthe light bar, so hopefully can't be stolen (as easily). I will get some close up pictures tomorrow.

I have not ran any light force on my own truck, but all my buddies have them. Pretty much identical, the Roo-lite is just a bit bigger in diameter compared to the same Light Force, both 100W, both can be dialed from spot beam to fog beam. The Roo-lite's are made in Canada, by Jetco Lighting
Hope this helps
Thanks Guys Jon

I know where made and such.....I just got a better deal from the US on the LightForce so I bought them instead. However, when I was adjusting the beam after re-aiming once putting my leveling kit in, one of the housings cracked on the back. Now I know that they have a 3 year warranty, but if it is going to be too much of a pain to get warranty from them, I may just have to slip down to KW to pick up a set. I always have liked Jetco products and have gotten good service from them - now the first time I tried something else, this happens.

Cowboydave here are the close up pictures for you

Festus Sorry about your troubles, I just measured the light housing it is 7.25" with out a cover on if that helps. Does the housing stay on when your driving or is it to loose. Did it crack it the winter time?

Nope, cracked at +30* outside. It does stay on while driving, but it's cracked from the female threads to the top of the housing. I threw some "Goop" over the crack for now, until I figure out what I'm doing. Light still works.

So how is the 6" channel fastened to the bumper? It looks great!

Thanks for the pictures. Im trying to find those lights a little cheaper than $240 American.

I would assume the 2 bolts hold it on the bumper, Enafzige.

Yeah, just the two bolts through plate then the bumper. The Bolts are about 4.50" long in order to make it through the metal behind the plastic bumper. You sandwich the plastic just a bit, just to make it snug.
