add SUB to Infinity?

I've done all the full blown stereo crap before, I just want to fill out the bottom end some.

I've noticed with the motor off & sitting still, the OEM system has exceptional bass, but's ~4db quieter than the rest of the music.

i am gonna make a 3/4 plate and put in a JL audio 10 i have laying around, or a Kicker 12, and just lay that across one of the back seat holes.

my Q?

--where do you pick up the signals for the amp, without hacking up the wiring too bad,

--where are you passing power from the Batt to the Amp, thru the firewall,

--where are you mounting a small amp?

--remote turn on, does the Infinity deck have one built in (to turn on a Infinity amp in regular cars?)

Here's what I've learned from the shop manual:

There appears to be a Dark Green lead going from the radio head to the amp (mounted behind the glove box) for remote turn-on.

The amp has a Yellow wire with Red stripe for a power source.

The radio has a Gray wire with a Red stripe for a power source.

The premium radio sends the 4 speaker outputs from the radio to the amp and then turns them into 7 outputs for the speakers. I can't tell from my shop manual, but I assume the 4 speaker outputs travel a fairly short distance from the back of the radio over to the back of the glove box where the amp is.

Let me know if you need to know any speaker wire colors.

Does it look like I could Splice in my XM3 crossover, and just send highs to the Infiinty amp, and lows to my sub?

be nice to cut the bass out of the door speakers, are they blowing?
mine seem to be rattling....not good...

Your speakers are fine, it's the plastic vapor barrier between the door panel and the door.

Some rip it out, Im gonna try pealing it off and using some spray adhesive to get it to stick to the door better. Just gotta find time
