AC Post again .

Just to recap number of posts over the past few weeks about the AC on 3rd gen trucks, here is what I gathered from them and please corretc me if I got something wrong:
1. Recircluating door issue - they break while swithing from out to in air with fan on mid or high. Symptoms are that very little or no air is coming out of vents. Some members removed them all together, air flow is great but all air is sucked from outside (diesel school bus post comment .

2. There is another door/gate problem in the AC system requiring removal of the dash.

I am posting this since my 06 Mega just lost the AC again, I have some cold air coming out from the vent to the left of the radio, very little from the others. On high setting the flow is just a joke, so I think I have problem # 1. Is there a TBS or part # for the new improved part ?

Thanks all.
(Sorry removed

Yes, it's an old subject but should stay around till fixed.

Mine blows less cold on the passenger side for the first 5 minutes, then it's fine.

If I run it on full blast it's far more noticible.

I think the compressor is just undrsized.

No TSB yet, that will be all day in the shop, so DC is resistant! can't believe the 07's have the same piece o crap door!

You're right, turn the blower down to setting one before changing from fresh to recirc.

Any way to install a larger compressor, say from an F-350? My brother's AC is awesome in his '06 F-350 crew cab. Mine is an embarrassment!

I'm the same with the vent to the right of the radio not blowing cold air. It's only been 1 time but I remember it like it was yesterday. I turned the entire a/c unit off and then back on and the cold air came back in that vent.
