AC Oil Capacity question

I just purchased a brand new replacement compressor and was wondering what the total oil capacity of the entire system is. I am planning on blowing out the lines and condensor to check for any contaminants. The compressor has a sticker on it that says oil-210cc's. I don't know if that's how much is in it or if that is how much it takes. I know some come with the proper amount of oil while others just have a little added for lube. I would like to know how much the system holds so that I know how much to add after checking the compressor. I don't want too much but I want to make sure I have added enough.

thanks
Dave

I removed the accumulator and the liquid line yesterday. I cut the old line where the orifice tube was. The orifice tube screen was pretty clean so it looks like there are no internal problems(clutch probs again). I am going to put the new compressor, accumulator and liquid line on this evening and see how it goes. This thing was full of oil. I think it had way to much already. It poured out of the evaporator, accumulator and the liquid line.

Still looking for oil capacity on this system. I am thinking 7-8oz total? Any ideas?

Thanks
Dave

Its 6 ounces of PAG100 oil. Just redone mine too. Would highly recommend replacing the dryer while your at it.

Good Luck!
