Yeah, right. I read where the new gauges are desinged to "meet customers expectations" meaning (to me atleast) anything over a certain # reads "good" anything lower and it is in the red.

Bottom line, that's a lot of miles and it's had a rough life. Not exactally just driven to church on Sundays.

I thought cummins was made to run hard and in fact liked having a load hooked to it. I have seem a few cummins with near a million miles still running strong. One guy delivers boats all over the US and has 1,16x,xxx miles on his rig, original engine. I guess it comes down to how he drove it and how the regular maintenance was done.

My high school buddy in Houston does just that, bought a 2004.5 dually installed a goose neck/5er hitch and put out contract bids to local companies to pull their trailers and goods across the country. Travels about 3 weeks every month. Pays pretty well, I've even considered joining him when I retire from the Navy here in about 3 years.

If they call those minnor then dang she is in great shape. I dont think that gapin whole is a goose neck hitch i think it was a transfer tank. that poor truck has had a good long life and towing with those mirrors that must be why the pillar on the back door looks like a sandwich

i agree, that hole is about 8" from the bulkhead, plus i see diesel stains on the bulkhead and all over the floor

should have come up for the free engine rebuild from cummins shouldn't it? Or is that a fallacy and they don't really rebuild the pickup motors for free if they make it past 500k?
