My 05 went through 2 steering box in 70k miles. I had 315 tires on it since new so I figure that must have been the culprit. I'm in an 07 now, and going to keep the stock tires as the truck drives so much better in this form. I'm also going to get the stabilizer just for preventative maintenance. I'll put up a post if/when the steering box goes.
