Re:3rd generation trouble codes

I saw this but I did the hold down the trip meter reset button and turn the ignition on, and it goes through the check codes and then it shows codes 66 50, and some other codes, but they all start with 66, then a couple of spaces then anothe rtwo digit number. Can anyone help with this?????

Is your truck running crummy or are you just playing with the bells and whistles? If I remember, I'll do the instrument panel check tomorrow and let you know what mine says. No need to be a hypochondriac.
Are you sure that procedure is a viable one for pulling codes on a 3rd gen truck? I am aware of the procedure but can't confirm that results are accurate on a 3rd gen.

Re:3rd generation trouble codes

I have had a continual off and on problem with my ABS/Brake light coming on. Now the Brake light has stayed on for the past few days like the emergency brake is on, but is not. The dealership wants me to leave the truck with them so they can try to run it down.
When the lamp comes on a fault code related to the circuit that had the trouble will be stored in the memory so they shouldn't have much trouble unless the fault is intermittent. If the fault is not present then system tests (performed by your truck) may pass and then the lamp would go out. System tests by your Dealer will only be possible if the fault is there when you drop it off- good luck.
