3rd gen long box?
I went out shopping today to replace my stolen 2nd gen. i looked at an 07 mega cab. the sales guy told me that in a mega cab you can't get a true long box anymore, is that true?

Megacabs only come with the shortbox right now. There are conversion companies that can make it a long box if you've got the green.

I dont think they EVER made a STOCK long bed Mega did they?

I had the same dilema about the the short bed but the mega cab is probably the best designed cab ever put on a truck. I learned to love the short bed.

a guy here in town did his own long bed mega and it looks killer. he is into it for $1600 right now and still needs to have the bed painted. Took him 4 days to do it.
