The HD's retain the current body style until the 2010MY when they will get a face lift....

The current 6.7L will remain through the style change as it's already 2010 emissions compliant.... a smaller, 5.0L V8, will be added to the 1500's later next calender year.

"Hopefully they go back to the 5.9L" that's what my service writer told me today because of the 6.7L issues they've STILL been seeing.

From what I have read, the 2010 trucks will more than likely go to the UREA system to improve fuel mileage. HOHN has hinted at it before, and he works for Cummins. That system will reduce soot and will reduce the need for so much EGR. That is half the problem with the 6.7 trucks in my book due to the extra fuel they send through the system to heat up the dpf. I would just wait, or find a new/used 07' 5.9.

man im stuck......i have a 06 dually i use for work.. hard work pulling everyday all day long alot of times more weight than it can handle... however the truck has more than paid for itself but i still owe 24 on it... long story short i want to get a new dodge however i dont want the 6.7 and i definatley dont want the other brands.. would yall rather keep an 06 which u no needs a clutch, full brake job(rotors pads etc..), front end work hub, ball joints,,, ac work, and possibly unforseen issues in the future( basically sinking alot of money into her) or..........keep it sink the money into her keep the 5.9.... and sell the wifes suv put her into a dually...wait before u answer lol... i can sell her suv and get 10000 its paid for and put 5 on tip of it.... long story short she is hell bent on the chevy... dont ask me why lol... im thinkin ltz dually 4x4 50s and with rebates get in one for 40s with 15 grand down... worth it or............just nurse the old goat till the new bodys 2010s come and trade her up which i would still be upside down... im thinking might be kinda worth it to have 2 duallys never any down time but **** woman a chevy??? what r yall thinking??????? any input greatly apppreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wait till 2010 and u can get a megacab LB dually, newfront end looks like 2009 1/2 ton, but still a good lookn truck. I have had no problems with my 6.7l and the megacab longbed dually is the baddest truck I have ever seen.

That isn't any miles. Just put the money in the maintenance and keep rolling.
