Got my 05 end of august no problems but only have 3500 miles on her. I don't get out enough. Only used to tow my 5vr. Like the fit & finish better then the 01 I had.

What is your experience?

Just trying to guage what I have to look forward to.
Traded an 03 CTD for my 05 in Dec of 04,the 03 had 151 K towing miles with no issues. The 05 now has 65K towing miles, the idler pulley died at 7k and shredded the serpentine belt.,has had vibration since day one, still does ,had one episode of death wobble, still running orignal tires and brake pads, with good wear left in them. The usual complaints, not great fuel mileage, compared to the 03, log-wagon ride, uncomfortable seats, torn door gaskests,ill-fitting rubber fenders etc., I hope the next one ,probably an 07,will perform more like my 03 did.

I bought the truck in sig May 05. 5,700 miles. I broke a radiator support bracket this summer, well, I was coming home from work when I heard a BOING (yes, it sounded pretty much like that) and then a vibration started above 1,600 or so rpm's, even when stopped. Replaced under warranty.

Due to winter fuel, my total mileage just slipped under 18 over the 5,700 miles. Shifts a little hard until warmed up, so I think I'll change the fluid this spring. My seat got a little uncomfortable behind my right knee on long trips until I hit a few thousand or so miles. I must have broken in the seat as it's been fine since.

I think the best thing is hearing the little guy in my avatar saying "Go in the Cummins?"

So far so good.

Bought new in May '05, just over 16,000 on it now. Daily driver and have pulled everything from cattle and horse trailers to tractors, and equipment. Getting around 18-20 empty on the highway. Not even a hint of a problem so far....

Picked mine up in August, 9000 miles so far could not be happier. Truck performs well, and tows great. Only been to the dealer for oil changes and high idle enable.

I got mine on July 1st of '05, with a born on date of May or 05. So far the only thing I've seen wrong is a small oil leak. It lookslike it's coming from the passenger rear part of the oil pan. It's got a hair over 17,500 on it now, by the way.

16000 miles, one year old. Only issue, intercooler/aftercooler blew up on way to Mexico hauling 10k of toys. Early plastic endtanks, replaced by DC with metal tanked unit. No other problems to report.

Only 9300miles on mine. No problems. Never towed anything yet. Haul about 800-1000lbs of stuff in bed maybe 80% of the time. Love my truck... a little too much, according to my wife.

Bought mine in September. At 5000 miles the Steering gear gave up the ghost.

Now at 7800 miles the door seals are both torn and I have a vibration at 70.

oh and the stereo won't always eject a cd.

Both of these items will be fixed shortly.

Other then that I love the truck.

I picked mine up in July and it just rolled over 28,000. No problems besides the tranny. DTT will soon fix that. I got a ticket last night... I was following 2 cars going 45, so I passed them and got pulled over doing 81 in a 55. I just blame the truck for getting up to speed to quick...
DrMoab, Your jeep is so AWESOME. I like the color of your truck too

Purchased 2nd week of September 05. Currently sneaking up in 10K miles. So far, no issues. Great mileage (been averaging 21.3 to 22.3 mpg the last 2500 miles). I have only towed with it once and that was escaping Hurricane Rita. I havent heard about this tearing-door-seal issue. What is that about? The truck rides great, feels very solid. I still cant believe I traded my Durango in on this truck, but now that I have it, I wish I would have gotten one sooner.

Just under a year old no complaints, 25,000 lots of heavy towing (up to 21,000# Gross) except for those dang door seals.
