New kid on the block with (I hope) simple problem.

Just bought a 2005 3500 w/ the extended mirror. Snaged divers side mirror on limb backing out of drive and can't get it to lock back into place. Noting appears to be broken and all controls still work fine... mirror arm just won't stay put.

Please tell me there is a simple solution!!!

PS. Love the truck! Had a '99 2500 for about 5 years, moma said get something newer, so we ended up with the '05 3500 without duallies, and a 6 speed.

could be wrong but I don't think its supposed to go that way, probably broke something.

 

Right... owners manual says "folds back but not forward..." but passenger side seems to fold forward a limited amout... hopefully someone has screwed up before........

Is it possible that I've rotated the entire mechanism forward? If so, how do I get it back!!??
