Lucky I have a Viper Alarm with heat sensor and all that crap.Without the remote in a certain radius cant start the vehicle.

Not to rain on your parade, but it aint going to stop a tow truck. But an alarm is atleast an attempt to slow them down. That what ins is for.

That list doesn't mention which 2004 Ram. There are several, i.e. 1500, 2500, 3500. Wouldn't surprise me if the model in question is a Hemi version.

Im willing to bet its an average of '02(gassers)-05' Body style Rams, 1500/2500/3500s

I dont think theres anything specific to an '04 that makes it easier to steal than an '03 or '05
