I don't think its coming by train because they sent it to Vera Cruz, but who knows what DC thinks. I guess I'll just have to wait it out. My last ordered Dodge truck took 3 months to get to me, so anything less then that would be considered a win I guess.

Cool Hey Tod where is my truck.

I sent an e mail to my dealer this morning.
I got this reply at 9:08 A.M. EST.
I sent an E mail to my dealer this morning, where is my truck. Trip to start the 25th.
Recived this back just moments ago

Al
It moved to final shipping status today so It is very close.
As far the trip I guess that is totally your decision. I think if you delay
it a day or two the truck should be here.

Vin # C64G208733

I just got this at 10:26A.M. EST

Al, this is the shipping record showing that the truck is in sterling
heights as of this morning. They say estimated to dealer is 3-30 but I
think that is a mis type and should be 3-20.

Alleyooper, it looks like you went only 10 days from KZ to your truck being in Michigan. That's VERY good. The wonders of the railroad. My truck took almost 4 WEEKS from KZ to get shipped.

You're almost there buddy.

Can't wait, this is painful but its only been a little longer than a month. I think they are finally catching up from all the BG status holds.
Oo.

Hoverlover - what is "currently in inspection"? That's a new one to me.

From what DC said, it involves quality and federal inspections. I just checked insight and it says it is now KZ status! It also said it will be loaded on the railcar today! With a delivery date of 4-8-04!

Can't hardly wait!

Mine was ordered 2/21. Went D1 on 3/8. Went KZ (Plant Release) yesterday a.m. (3/18) Tentatively scheduled to be unloaded from railcar in Rolla, CO on 3/28. Rolla is only a few miles from my dealer. Sure hope they can get it to dealer by 3/31 since I have an ep cert., although Insight lists tentative delivery on 4/7. We'll see. The same dealer has a similar 3500 SRW unloaded at rail yard in Rolla on 3/17 and was on truck 3/18. I'm going to call later today to see if it was delivered. If so, I think I have a good chance to get it mine by 3/31.

JUST got a call from my salesman about 3 minutes ago, and our truck "is on the ground" !!!!!!!

He said he's going to make sure they can get it through mechanical inspection and clean-up, but he's shooting for us to pick it up TOMORROW!!!

I should know for sure within the hour.

Hooooo Raaaaa!

Yup. Tomorrow at 10:30 am we're picking up our truck. It was 9 weeks to the day since we ordered. Our Durango took 8 weeks to the day back in 1999. I'm a big picture taker so I'll be sure to post some good shots.

The wait is over.

I'm at 9 weeks tomorrow also. I ordered on January 17. I still have another week...or two?

Congrats, and tell us all about it.

FYI Picked up truck last night. Looked under rocker panels. Guess what. That's right. Tape over the rocker panel plugs. No big deal, salesman said he would order 16 plugs at no charge. Other than that, the truck is perfect. No 2000 rpm vibration, no hesitation. Wonderful. The thing that always make me wonder is every truck I have ever bought, the salesman fills the tank up for me and then acts like the money comes directly out of his pocket. Also, someone stole the Sirius radio out of the parts dept. I'll have to wait another week or so for another on to come in. No big deal. Like I said before, I expect things to go wrong. It was well worth the wait for the truck, although it would have been nice to have a better tracking system (Insight)

There are other variables, like dealer allocation and location. My truck went D1 in about 2.5 weeks. A dealer a small allocation may not get a truck to go D1 for a month or more.

Then there's that little shipping issue........

buzzer Where on long island are you and which dealer did you order from. I ordered from riverhead on 2/25 and just checked insight this morning, I think it is on a railcar in lecheria. Where ever that is. I'll have to call tomorrow and try to get a railcar number.

Johnny...I'm in Setauket and ordered from Thomas. I didn't have a real good experiance with Riverhead when I ordered a previous truck. Their service is good however. Anyway, Thomas doesn't impress me but they worked with me on the order so that was good enough for me. I might have a diiferent opinion when I go to pick it up. Lecheria is in Mexico somewhere. My order went in 2/6 so your doing pretty good at this point on the shipping front.
