2004 305/555 stock injector replacement opinions

I'm looking for opinions for a stock injector replacement. A small increase in power would be a bonus, but milage and smoothness are more important to me. The dealer wants $850-900 CAN per injector. This seems like a high price, after reading some of the threads on this forum. Is there any benefits to going with the stock injectors? What is "pop testing", and do all new injectors come "pop tested"?

Are your injectors shot at only 35,000 miles?

With low mileage like that you could probably just look at some bigger nozzles for all 6 injectors for around $800-100- USD.

Send them to Don M at for complete check out and new 40HP Flux 1 tips. That is one of the best upgrades I put on my 03 and they gave me about 2mpg increase especially whren towing.

I had a batch of bad fuel with lots of water. With the cold weather up here in Canada, I'm afraid my fuel system is shot. The water in fuel light didn't light up at all. I've got the lift pump failure p-code showing. The two plugs on the cp3 are missing (assumed that has something to do with the water in the fuel freezing). The fuel leaks from the lower hole on the cp3 (where a plug use to be) when I cycle the lift pump. I'm planning on going to a raptor 100 lift pump, as the oem in tank retrofit kit is almost the same price up here. Any advice on a good place to get a cp3 (new) at a good price? I'm not sure if the injectors are gone yet, but I'm trying to do some planning before I get into fixing the truck, just to try to avoid too many surprises.

Thanks for the advice.

Welcome fellow Canuck!
Not sure on your location but if you out west contact Harry at Peak
http://www.peakdieselperformance.com/home.html
He can hook you up with what you need for substantially cheaper than the prices you quoted. Good people to deal with.
