Talking 2004 1ton quad cab rear floor question

I thought this topic was on site before but i couldn't find the one so i will ask the question:

I have the molded compartment rear floor. Is that a panel or a body stamp? I guess after all the tools I need in there, a flat floor (which was the option) was more needed now. and the follow up, what change involved (semi- answered with the above).......

Be the FIRST to answer!!! win nothing, but my respect and thanks!!

I thought they were all molded and the "flat floor" option was the fold out deal that lays on top of the compartments to make the floor "flat". I wish mine came with one as they're about $200 at the dealer.....about $100+ on Ebay.

Yep, the "flat" floor is the fold flat option with the plates that fold out and lie flat out from underneath the seat...

Havent seen any trucks without the pocket storage area under the seat...

Thanks Much Appreciated

waay cool, thanks yeah, would have liked a flat floor but still love my 68 chevy c50 big truck(sold) for hauling tools.... just wishful thinking I guess
BUT THANK YOU for getting back to me, and I think I will lose room with the fold out stuff (at least the tools won't slosh all over when I hit some of these hills here)

THANKS DTR for the site; and have a very happy holdiay fellas!
