There are no 'dumb' questions; except maybe "Was I supposed to read the manual?"

The next thing you probably should do here, other than catch up on lots of reading, is to go to "User CP" and fill out your signiture block. As you can see by mine and others, tell everyone what you have. This way, when you have a question you don't have to tell everyone what you have everytime.

Have fun with the truck.

Mikmaze, I calculated 22.5 mpg and the truck computer said 21.5mpg so it was pretty close..
I'll be checking it again soon

Look down and see if you have a clutch pedal.

It may make a difference in both your mileage and the amount of dirt pulled into your turbo. Usually as one goes up, the other follows. (not all systems though)

The lift pump is the fuel pump that takes fuel from the fuel tank and pushes it through your fuel filter and on to your High Pressure pump. The lift pump is cheap compared to the other pump. When the lift pump fails, your HP pump is usually soon to follow if you didn't catch the LP going bad early enough. One of the first mods to do to your truck would be to install a set of gauges. Fuel Pressure, Exhaust Gas Temp (EGT) and Boost if you have a Clutch pedal (see above) or Transmission Temperture if you don't have a Clutch pedal.
