07 Invoice Price
07 Invoice Price
I have been looking at used 2005's and wantedt to see what others have paid for their 2007's with the 5.9 4x4 Quad Cab Short Bed. All the prices on used 05's with 30-50,000 miles have been between 25-30,000 in the Pittsburgh PA area. So I've considered getting an 07 with the 5.9. Any thoughts or prices????
I saw a 07 5.9 in the paper in Illinois for around $33K. It was a Quad cab, Shortbox, 4x4, SLT level and pretty sure it was an auto. Seemed like a good deal, but like all dealers, probably only 1 at that price. They were also running 0% financing, but that was for 08 models only....
man, prices really fell off huh? when I bought the 03 almost a year ago, I paid a little over 22,000....and that had 94,000k on it. I was pretty sure I wasnt gettin ripped off, kbb had it at 24,000. of course, I didnt find out the injectors were bad till this past winter. lesson learned: dont buy trucks in the summer. only in the winter when you can make sure it will start.
still holdin out for that diesel tacoma though.

Pete, The difference between Invoice and MSRP is right close at 11% so a $46,000 new ram has an invoice right at $41,000. Now the dealer also gets holdback and an advertising fund which equals out to almost $2,000. So there is what $4500.00 in rebates which gives a bit over 11K in difference between MSRP and what should be your Net cost.
Any new Ram you look at should be getting right at 11K in total discounts and dont slip up and pay some $500.00 admin fee after negotiating the price!!

I think I'll end up with a used 06. The local dealer has 2 coming in on trade and I can get either one of them cheap. I just don't think I can swing a new one right now. Pete
Save today while you can. Fuel is pricey and the cheaper yer' payment the better. Be it one big payment or 60 smaller ones! These trucks will last the test of time as you know so a buck saved is a buck earned.
Ya, I hear ya. I will probably end up with one of the 2 06's that the dealer is takeing in on trade. When I first talked to them last month they stated that they rarely ever see many diesels on trade ins because people usually keep them forever. In the last 2 weeks the dealer has taken in 3 diesels, 2 haven't come in yet. Maybe the fuel prices are driving some people out of diesels.

The great part of buying used is that you can buy closer to "True market value"....New Dodges dont care if Diesel is $2.50 or $5.00 they typically have the same rebate structure and incentives regardless of the recent events.
Try and steal one of those 06's Pete! You know the Dealer sure is!!!!

The dodge dealer close to me has a 05 SLT Quad cab 5.9 auto 4x4 with 43,000 miles for 26,000 and 2 07 the same as above except they are big horn modles. One 07 with 11,000 miles they are asking 30,500 and the other 07with around 12,000 miles they are asking 32-33,000. allso they have a 08 SXT duad cab 6.7 six speed manule 4x4 for 34,500. Do those sound like good deals?? Allso if dodge takes a truck back as a lemon. do they turn right around and resell them.I guess what i am trying to ask is. if i ask the dealer if the truck was bought back as a lemon they have to tell me by law? thanks Mopar72
