Been available since 04 as far as i know! other than the rust issues, would be handy. I had my dealer price it, and it was over 1200 bucks canadian. Too much for me!

Maybe you could Line-X or Rhino the bed and then put them back in. They would have to be very water tight for the area that I live in. It would be handy though as then your gear would be accessable from the sides and you wouldn't need to climb into the bed to get that one item that you need that always makes it way just out of reach in the middle.

Nope...they are advertised in the 06 Dodge Ram accessories catalogue and through Mopar Canada to fit 04 and up. They are made by a company called Projx....here is link (poor site, no year info for fit on the site): http://www.projxauto.com/

I didnt know the 02-03 1500 models and 03 25-3500 had different beds.

Most likely not just stoopid employes at DC.

It looks like a hand place to put things if you live in a good neighborhood. I cant imagine the locks if any would be very tough. I wouldnt want to put high dollar items in it like adverstised....

neat idea if nobody ever stole anything ever and it was a perfect happy little world we lived in.

Too many tweakers where I live
