So, being new to DC, I'm looking for input. When does DC release new vehicles for sale? August, September, ???

My '150 is showing it's age; I'm trying to make it throught the summer without major repairs, but I dunno! Probably need a new AC compressor by EOY, may need intake gaskets now (lean condition).

I think soon, I was at the dealer yesterday and they didn't have any info on 06 order date yet, but looks like they did have the options list available. The sales Manager looked on his computer and told me they are still going to offer the sport package for 06 which is good, so looks like they have options info anyway.

 

I am ordering a new 06 3500 4 x 4 for late August delievry.

My dealer says the pricing and order book should be open in about 7 -10 days. Trying to find out 06' options. Please new front bucket seats and a delete for the taco lights!

 

A Mod on another list, who also works for Edmunds, mentioned the 06's will begin production the week of July 4th.

 

No more 7 year drivetrain warranty on 06.

With Dodge trying to gain market share, the 7/70 warranty is a major selling point. I don't see DC eliminating it. However, as we all know, bean counters run corporations! If they can save a buck on each vehicle ($1 * 200k vehicles = $200k), they will do it! Wait...now I sound like a bean counter! oh, well; chalk it up to exposure to corporate america?!?!?

Don't know if this helps, but I ordered my 2002 in early-to-mid June 2001 (I had missed the order cutoff date for the 2001s), it was built July 31, 2001 and delivered August 15, 2001 - the first 2002 truck my dealer received.
