06 odometer display says "no FUSE"

I accidently hit the panic button. I pressed it again and it did not shut off. I had to get into the truck and start the engine, to get the panic button to shut off. Then the odometer display was reading no FUSE and the keyless entry will not work anymore. Can someone give me some guidance what to do? Thanks.

IOD fuse under the hood, usually has a plastic holder around it.

Great dealer prep! It makes you wonder if they checked the important stuff like fluid levels in the drivetrain.

How in the (fill in your own word) does dealer prep have anything to do with the panic blowing a fuse??

If the fuse is good might be a software issue.

Hey guys get this! I checked the fuse box, and the IOD fuse #21 had worked its way loose. I pushed it back in, all the way and everything work's fine like when I bought it. The fuse wasn't even blown. Makes you wonder what they are doing at the dealerships or where these things are built. This really bothers me cause I think , Well what else did they forget to double check. Maybe it's just me, but you make mistakes like that in my line of business you get Marines killed. Everything has to be just right. No room for mistakes. I say take pride in your job, do it right the first time and you will always get a customer to come back. If I do any maintenance on my truck myself, will I void my warranty?

Same exact thing happened to mine when it was new. I picked it up on a friday night...drove around a little bit. Next morning I get in it and start it up and I get NO FUSE. Drive to the dealership at about noon on saturday and service manager pops the hood, opens the fuse box, and pushes it back in...I felt stupid. Under this condition my overhead computer and radio would not work.

New trucks are shipped from the factory with the IOD (Ignition-Off Draw) fuse removed to minimize drain on the batteries during transit and storage. The dealer is supposed to reinstall it as part of dealer prep. There is even a "parking spot" for this fuse within the fuse box. "No fuse" on the odometer display indicates it is blown, or much more likely on a new vehicle, still in its parking spot.
