This is photo of the 06' bucket seats page three scroll down a bit. and center console. Can you get this in the SLT package and cloth, or are they only going to be available in Leather and Laramie?

Also, WHEN WILL WE GET SOME SPEC'S on the 06'

yeah your right, it is a 1500, i really didnt realize that. So how does one find out what the full size ones will be? They are showing up on the lots. Well FWIW, I like it and hope I can buy a 2500 what that interier in cloth.

it looks nice, but I like more of a built up center console. Maybe its because I drive a chevy and have bucket seats, i like the layout. I odnt really want a bench or modified bench seat in the front, I want Captians chairs and the like.

I have a 2006 3500 4x4 order guide in front of me, it looks like you can order that console in a 3500 (assume a 2500 also) SLT and Laramie as long as you order an automatic tranny with elec shift-on-the-fly. You could not get it with a manual tranny or manual t-case shift.

Looks like it comes standard with the Sport package and auto tranny, BUT it "shouldn't" have the wood grain on it with the Sport.

Sport package includes "instr. panel satin silver bezel"

No problem, just be careful when you order as a lot of the codes etc. have changed for 06 and most of the people doing the ordering have not ordered an 06 before and have no clue.

I'm pretty sure the truck that this photo was taken in is a sport. If you look the center stalk has a silver satin finish albeit with some fake wood right in the middle. Also, the front clip shots of the red truck accompanying this interior photo on the TDR is a sport front end.

Bottom line is the fake wood is here with a vengence.

 

Nope. that truck is a Larime, you can tell because it has a chrome grille and center chrome piece in the bumper. The SLT also has a chrome grille but has more chrome on the bumper.

Sport's will not have any chrome on the front bumper at all and the grille is body matched, take a look here: http://www.dodgetalk.com/forums/show...59&postcount=1

Not sure on what they mean by satin finish on the Sport either, maybe more of it, might also be a body color match piece in place of the wood grain ala the SRT, but I would imagin that they would not use wood grain for the sport, but won't know until one shows up somewhere.

FYI - I have looked at over 30 2006 Rams at local lots and not one of them has had that new center console, no Sports yet either.
