Talking 04 navigation radio program question

Oh KNowledgeable ones out there- when the nav radio came out- it advertised the map on it. Of course, we bought it and received from the dealership the voice prompt, street by street version- no map.

Anyone get the map during that time period????? Is this updateable???

kind of vacuums to not see the route ahead or have to scroll down at a stop to see what route it is taking you on.....

just wondered, THANKS for any replies.

You have it set to 1/20 of a mile. Back it off too 1/8 miles or higher. Also do you have the RB1 or the Rb4. If you have th rb1 which is pictured below. While the NAV screen is on. Turn the bottom **** and it will highlight other options. Stop on the 1/20 mile option. Then hit the enter button on the outside of the ****. You will now be able to adjust the map to you distance prefrence. Not the street by street option. If you have the rb4. Sorry they do not offer these options. Just turn by turn. It will cost you about 300 to step up to the rb1. Sell yours for about 250-300 on eBAy and then buy an rb1 for 500 or so.
