I need to get a leveling kit on my Truck before I grind the lower part of my front bumper off and most companys have kits for 04s but dont list 05s. I have the Sport front end that is lower and is painted. I have already cracked the lower portion and scratched up about an inch up on the plastic. Has anyone just cut the lower part off? thanks..

 

Just in case anyone that ends up in my shoes here is the fix for leveling a 3/4ton new dodge. Seams like most of the Experts here on this forum are 4x4 folks and dont have any knowlege of 2x4s suspensions.
03-05 2500 dodge 2.5in leveling use Daystars kc09100 and Procomp shocks 318585. The Daystars were 74bucks and the shocks cost 35bucks. There is no need for tie rods or any other changes on the 03-05s. I will install today and If there are any problems I will post them...

 

I looked into that same topic 6 months ago and got of course blank replies. From what I understand from talking with a daystar retailer is that he would not put them on his vehicle as he has seen many complaints on them, mostly if you get the wrong size. I was also told I may want to go 1" in the rear so that if you hook up a trailer to it, it will not sag as much.

There is a fella on here that has installed a front and rear lift can't, remember who but it does look good. Please do keep us informed.
