my slt does not have them. Saw a truck the other day that did. Not sure if it was an slt or what. What is the score on the tow hooks? I NEED them. Was wondering if any of you off-road guys have added them to your trucks and if it was a PITA?

Also, 30,000# tow strap?? good enough? What's/who's (is) the best? Price is of no concern.

I got my 38,000# 4"x30' strap from central4wd.com for $69.00.
Probably overkill.
The bumper/tow hooks will get ripped off before the strap breaks.

Not sure what shipping was, due to it coming with my 60" Hi-Lift and accessories.
It did come about 3 days after I ordered it.

I think they had a 30,000#er and everything below that.

There are two styles offered by DC for the 03 up Rams.

1) the slotted/holed style which comes in the snow plow prep package.

2) the U shaped hooks available through Mopar Accessories.
