just as the title says, when i bought my dodge in april 2002 i bought it for 100.00 over invoice, i think thats somewhat standard?
whats the best way of getting the price down? i need someone to give me the all the tricks to lower the price so i can get my work to buy a dodge!!!

i get to work today and have been notified that my boss FINALLY gave in on my preaching to them that the CUMMINS was superior than the isuzu or the navistar, and they will buy me a dodge IF its comparable in price to what our NATIONAL account can buy a chevy or ford-

so now i have my choice of a dodge chevy or ford, i really want the dodge, and it will be a service truck for working on our heavy machinery.

my current service truck is a 99 F-450 dually stroke with a service bed total weight is about 16K.

the dodge can handle that right?

for the most part i need a price on a cab and chassis DUALLY 3500 HO 600 diesel, 2wd or 4wd reg cab, auto,pw pdl, tilt cruise,CD,rubber mat floor,vynal seat if avail, heaviest duty spring packaging,HD charging system, basically the most durable parts cause the truck will get abused- will be bought in about ASAP, but more than likely 30 days from today.

3500 is the biggest avail right now? is dodge coming out with a comparable truck the the FORD 450 AND 550?

You can purchase a new ram 3500 for around a 1000 under invoice, Just do some shopping. I am more or less in the same boat as you. I also work on heavy equipment and have been waiting for a higher gvw dodge for a while. we also have a 450 and it is pretty well loaded usually weighs around 14-14,500. And also have a 02 ram equipt about the same. We added a few springs on each truck under crane. From what im told, we will be seeing a ram comparable to the 450 in a few months, with just a little bit higher gvw than the ferd. But for right now you cant get a chassis-cab in a 3rd gen for a few more months. You would be stuck with removing the bed from a 3500.

 

i guess im screwed out of getting a dodge

my current box weighs about 9-10K and thats almost DOUBLE what the dodge 3500 can take over the axle-

im afraid it would just blow axles due to the extreem weight right over the rear end-


i hear that those new dodge 4500 and 5500 will be using mercedes bends motors.... i want a 5500 dodge cummins right now dangit...
