As far as price, I found out I get a discount through work that is 1% under invoice and will work with the 0%.
I asked my dealer to search for a truck, but I am not sure how far away they will look. I may have to keep looking myself if they only want to look within a couple hundred miles. My parents live in Arizona just across from the river from Laughlin, NV, so Vegas would have worked and given me a nice drive to break it in.

I just checked their web site and they have no 06 2500s and 2 3500s, but no QC LBs. Thanks.

I had a friend give me a 'Green Sheet' or employee discount. Basically, there is no haggling price, they just take 5% off dealer invoice plus give you all rebates, incentives and dealer cash.
It's the best way by far to buy a vehicle! I just let them start talking deals and prices and then after about ten minutes I'd tell them I have a green sheet and their whole expression changes and it's like I'm a member of an elite club that they don't try to smooth talk or BS.
Every dealer is the same price with a green sheet. I found out I was actually buying the truck at less than what the dealer pays, then Dodge reimburses them $1,000 for the green sheet sale. (I even got that, but don't tell anyone, and I'll never admit it...)
In the end I got my truck for $33,500 and the sticker was $46,500. The 3500's get $500 less dealer cash than the 2500's. I was looking at a 2500 Laramie stickered at $47,800 I could get for $34,073. That's almost $14,000 off!
Find a Dodge employee to give you a green sheet. My friend has 40 years at Dodge so he had a green sheet he could give to anyone but most are family only. The process is easy then, you find your truck, they call Dodge and get your green sheet number and that's it.

Thanks Lost Lake. Now I just need to find a truck and then an employee. I get the employee discount for GM from my grandfather, but have no desire to use that.

Just be warned that when you take advantage of "employee pricing" you are waiving many of your rights such as the Lemon Law. You also waive your right to sue the dealer/DC in a normal civil court, as you're agreeing to an arbitration clause.
IMHO it's not really worth the extra 5% or ~$2K discount to lose all of those rights.

I stopped by Desert Dodge yesterday.
The only 06 they have a 2wd SLT Mega Cab in Silver....
They have 6.7 Laramie Mega Cab that I drove yesterday....Nice....but they said its GOLD, and won't come off of sticker.
Then went to Chapman, they were giving me "book" on mine, but wont come off of sticker on a 3600 mile "NEW" 2007 Mega Laramie 5.9L ($51K). Needless to say, I still have my truck.
Towbin, has a zero 06's.
Integrity has quite a few 06's, but don't want to make anything happen.
It's like they want to make "home run" on deals, or they rather have them sit on the lots.
I wouldn't mind a Mega Cab, but not at $900 a month.

Integrity has quite a few. They do have a flame red one that is almost what I want, but an automatic. Oh well, I don't need one, but would like one. I can wait and get a used one 03-04 in a couple years.
