[fuel filter] flow question

[fuel filter] flow question

i am using fleet guard 7 micron filter in my o6 and was thinking of switching to a filter with a absolute rating of 5 microns. will this restrick my fuel flow or lower the fuel presure in cold weather.where i am the tempature is always above 0.

I doubt you will see a difference between the two filters.

I've wondered that as well. I mean, how small do you go on the micron scale till fuel can't get through as efficiently. Aint it like them K&N air filters they're better cause they're freeeeerrr flowin?? edit if I know.

tom i know what your saying the filter im talking about also has a nominal rating of 1 micron.there is a old saying [how low can you go]do you think they were refering to fuel' oil' an air filters. just kidding.
