*giggle*

dealer called yesterday to say my new truck was in. went down today to look at it and take it for a spin it only had 7Km on the clock (4 mi)
went for a short drive on the freeway, didn't have any strange vibes. turned the air conditioning on at 2000 rpm, still no strange vibes. checked out the paint (patriot blue) didn't see any major missed spots...
Would these vibrations guy's are talking about happen right away or is it something that develops over time?
I get to pick it up monday after the dealer has done the pdi...

sitting here giggling like a giddy school girl... I can hardly wait...

Re:*giggle*

That's great news westcoaster. I can't wait till mine gets here, hopefully sooner than later. I just called my brother up (he has an '03), and I asked him to take some pictures of his so I'll at least have something to look at. I bet you don't get any sleep this weekend. ;D

Nice, that is awfully exciting. Mine is just 3 weeks old and I still get so excited every time I drive it. No vibrations at any speed. Maybe they fixed that for 04s. 8)

Re:*giggle*

Gees guys, my truck is over a year old and I STILL get goosebumps when I get behind the wheel. But then my wife tells me it doesn't take much to get me excited.

Congrats westcoaster. Mine was very smooth when I went for a test drive and it's even smoother now at 18,500 miles

Re:*giggle*

Congrats eh.

My truck is nearing 10,000 kilometers...no issues other then that dang exhaust smell...I have some time next week to address it...going to check to see if theres a gasket between the turbo and exhaust manifold or not and check all bolts.
Its exhaust not crank case fumes. Same smell with the breather extended.

This sure is a big step up from the 01'. ;D

Re:*giggle*

My cheeks are sore.....

From smiling so much...

My truck has a smell too at times but I don't have enough K to tell if it is a problem or just crap burning off the engine.
I noticed behind the battery on the inside of the fender is a hole approx 2x2 1/2 inches on both sides of the truck. just wondering if the cab vents might be sucking air from inside the fender...
