Make that a $950 can of ScotchGuard and clear coat protectant. IMO...They gotchya.
It should come with a writen limited warranty against any damage for a time period both inside and out. My new Nissan came with it and the warranty was very good against any damage to the seats, interior etc. They claim they will either clean to my satisfaction or replace the damaged carpet or seat cover. The leather seats made it worth while. Check your paper work. If it isn't there you should be able to get a copy from the dealer.

I just happen to wander to the back of a dealer body shop preping a new truck and it was literally a can of scotchguard fabric protectant they were spraying the seats with.

My wife's first new car was a 1995 Ford Escort 2dr hatchback....barebones Escort other than A/C and Cassette. It stickered for 11K and some change. They had an extra sticker for $750 Paint/Fabric Protectant, $250 Undercoating, and some knd of document fee. They knocked all those charges off and she bought the car for right around MSRP......SUCKER. She actually felt like they were giving her a good deal. I told her she could have bought a dozen cans of undercoating and scotchgaurd for $50. The Uneducated get taken all the time.......

it's a scam. you got about 20.00 bucks worth of crap for 950.00 bucks. it doesn't protect your paint anymore- all paint is paper thin these days unless you pay 5000.00 for a custom paint job-document fees are another scam- each dealer has different prices on those- ranging from my experieince from 300.00 bucks on up. they want to charge you for "additional"paperwork, etc which needs to be done anyways in order to sell a vehicle- talk to most people who work at dealers-they can justify about anything- not on my dime, though!

Yep, buy your own Scotch guard, and use the rest for a "genuwhine" (Earl Scheib paint special)
when your truck needs to be repainted . It may not get masked very well, but The el cheapo Enamel will probably last much longer than the Dodge el minimo special that you get with the truck. Did I mention really -really THIN !!
