Hi. I have a Smarty S67. Went to the Mad website. and went into the download section. You click on the smarty you have (S67) it shows all the smartys so I clicked on the S67 as that is what I have. and it shows the REVO update download. I did that, it took some playing but it worked.
I want to do the delete thing ,,I have the delete pipe.

The New Smartys are the S67-ME type,, there are 2 updates on their site for the ME smarty..

I dont have the actual S67-ME.. When I downloaded the update for the S67
is that the SAME as having the ME smarty? or do I need to go to the Smarty S67-ME and download the file that is for the S67-ME smarty even tho my smarty is just the S67.

The ME Version is for the deleted trucks. If you are planning on deleting then you need to down load the ME software for your Smarty. The S-67 will take either the ME or the standard software. You need to determine if you are going to delete or not, then choose the correct software.

Hey Jim,
I have a Smarty 6.7 with the ME software installed, can I install the regular, non-ME software in the programer until my delete pipe arrives?

i ran my smarty me. before a deleted anything for a few days . had no problems

 

Thanks jive, maybe I'll go ahead and try it. Just worried about it going into limp mode.

 

Sorry I was already logged off and normally only check once a day.
I think you can but I do not know for sure since I deleted before I installed the Smarty program on the truck.
