Good morning,
I am installing Smarty 6.7 software onto my truck.
I do pull a 28' enclosed 4 place snowmobile trailer in the mountains of NY, probably no more than 7500#'s. What would be a safe setting for my Smarty software for this application?

I pull a 7500 lb travel trailer on SW3 on all defaults. Pulling through mountains I have not seen EGT's over 1200*, that was working it hard too.

I would reccommend the same.

 

I have the JR, tow a 5th wheel loaded up, close to 15000 lbs, on the 40 HP setting

 

I have the JR also, have it set at the 40 hp setting and tow a 13,500 lb dump trailer with no issues. Just don't abuse it and the tranny will last.
